Coronavirus and Running a Business?

After a year of covid, we are getting back into the swing of things.

Well, it definitely has to be said that these Stay At Home orders that we were all under have been stressful, bizarre, and yet at the same time, it has been uniquely priceless! Being able to stay home and spend quality time with my family has been something that will last a lifetime.

With a one year old and an 9 year old daughter, interactive classes, running a business, and trying to stay calm when considering how and when my next revenue source will be coming has been stressful. There are so many projects I have on my to-do list, it has been hard to figure out where to start. From genealogy research and family trees, to feather lei making, and food gardens to adding to my repertoire of available jewelry pieces and how to make them more readily available…it’s been rather overwhelming. So, I took a breath, took a beat, and just reveled in the time. Time to do absolutely nothing.

Life continued on despite coronavirus. Birthdays, a wedding, deaths of family members and our pet, graduations, disrupted relationships due to differences in opinions on how to handle social distancing. Despite all of this, I remain hopeful that things are getting better.

To stay positive, I have been brainstorming new items to incorporate into my jewelry making: wood beads, sandalwood beads, amethyst and rose quartz gemstones, lava stone beads, etc. Thoughts???

A year off and now there’s a necessity to get back into the swing of things! I wonder how everyone else is faring while running their businesses, so I ask: “How are you?”
